Additional Terms for Anthology Contributors

Submission Requirements

  1. By submitting your chapter to the anthology, you represent and warrant that:
    • The submission is your original work.
    • The submission does not infringe on any intellectual property or rights of any other party.
    • You hold all necessary rights to grant the license detailed below.
  2. Contributions must be submitted in accordance with the guidelines provided, including adherence to all deadlines. Failure to meet deadlines may result in exclusion from the anthology without refund of the participation fee.
  3. We reserve the right to edit submissions for grammar, clarity, and formatting while maintaining the integrity of the original work.

Fees and Refunds

  • All contributors are required to pay a non-refundable participation fee at the time of submission.
  • No refunds will be issued once the fee is paid, regardless of any circumstances.

Copyright and Licensing

  • By contributing, you assign all copyright in your submitted work to 1Away International LLC, which will hold exclusive copyright for the anthology.
  • You retain the right to use your submitted content for personal, non-commercial purposes, provided proper credit is given to the anthology.

Publishing and Distribution

  1. Happily Family will oversee the production, publishing, and distribution of the anthology.
  2. A bestseller designation as defined by Amazon (e.g., achieving bestseller status in one or more categories on Amazon) is guaranteed; however, achieving a #1 international bestseller status is not guaranteed.
  3. Contributors agree to actively support the promotion of the anthology, including but not limited to:
    • Sharing information about the book with their personal and professional networks (e.g., friends, family, social media).
    • Participating in promotional activities as reasonably requested by Happily Family.
  4. There will be no revenue share from the sales of the anthology. Contributors understand that they will not receive royalties or additional payments under any circumstances. Contributors understand that their participation fee covers inclusion in the anthology, and all sales revenue will belong exclusively to 1Away International LLC.

Indemnity and Liability

  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless 1Away International LLC, Happily Family, and their affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising out of your submission, including but not limited to intellectual property disputes. This indemnity expressly extends to covering defense costs, attorney's fees, and any related legal expenses incurred.

Governing Law

All disputes related to the anthology will be subject to the laws of the State of Oregon, USA.

Subscription and Refund Policies

  • Cancellations of subscriptions must be requested via email at support@happilyfamily.com.
  • Specific programs may have unique refund periods detailed in their terms:
    • The Blueprint Program: Return period of 30 days from the time of purchase.
    • The Sibling: Master Class: Return period of 14 days from the time of the first class. The Partner Bonus applies to another adult living in the same household.
    • Happily Family Conference Recordings: Return period of 14 days from the time of purchase.
    • Clear Path Live: Full refund available within 7 days of purchase. After 7 days or within two weeks of the event, you may postpone your ticket to the following year.
